当社は、2024年を基準年として、2030年までにスコープ1およびスコープ2の温室効果ガス排出量を42％削減すること、ならびにスコープ3排出量の測定および削減に取り組む目標を設定し、このたび SBTi により承認されました。

【Public Announcement Summary (English)】

KABUSHIKIGAISYA HOKUSYO has received approval from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets.

The Company has committed to reducing its absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2024 base year, and to measuring and reducing its Scope 3 emissions. These targets have been formally approved by SBTi.

The approved targets are aligned with the 1.5°C pathway of the Paris Agreement and are science-based. The Company will continue to advance decarbonization initiatives as a key management priority.
